Poetry of Botany is a collection that finds us in praise of nature once again. For this particular collection, I chose the foliage for its amazing texture. The leaf. The symbol of hope, revival, rebirth and new beginnings...Trying to capture the simplistic beauty of nature is no small task for us human beings and in jewelry, it means intricate detailing. Sculpting the shape, the edges, the little veins, the imperfect natural beauty of the leaf with metal. By hand!As our favourite playing field is the ear, Poetry of Botany is formed entirely by gold and silver-plated earrings, with some pieces boasting quartz gemstones, looking as if they are leaves in the morning frost.
